Panchakarma
The five Panchakarma therapies are Vamana (Emesis), Virechana (Therapeutic purgation), Nasya (Nasal medication), Anuvasana Basti (Medicated oil enema) and Niruha Basti (Herbal decoction enema). They help in cleansing the body and have a relaxing effect on the body and mind.
Shirodhara
Shirodhara reduces fatigue and initiates a soothing effect on our brain cells. It is a purifying and rejuvenating therapy designed to eliminate toxins and mental exhaustion as well as relieve stress and any ill effects on the central nervous system
Potali Massage
It alleviates muscle and joint pains, stiffness and doshas. Potli massage helps the body detox of wastes and toxins, thus making it feel nourished and rejuvenated. It can also help reduce ageing symptoms. Helps improve the quality of your skin.
Abhyangam
Pain relief and muscle relaxation: Abhyanga massage can help to relieve muscular tension, stiffness, and pain. The warm oil and gentle kneading movements relax the muscles, improve flexibility, and alleviate discomfort. Balancing of doshas: According to Ayurvedic principles, Abhyanga massage can help balance the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. By using specific oils and techniques tailored to an individual's dosha, the massage aims to restore harmony and balance in the body and mind.
Kati Basti
Alleviates lower back pain: Kati Basti is primarily used to address lower back pain, including conditions such as sciatica, herniated discs, muscle spasms, and general discomfort. The warm herbal oil penetrates deep into the tissues, providing relief and reducing inflammation. Improves spinal flexibility: The application of heat and the gentle pressure of the oil-filled reservoir during Kati Basti helps to improve the flexibility and mobility of the spinal column. This can be beneficial for individuals experiencing stiffness or limited range of motion in the lower back.
Marma therapy
Energetic balance: Marma therapy aims to balance the flow of prana (life force energy) in the body. By stimulating the marma points, the therapist helps to remove any blockages or imbalances in the energy pathways, promoting overall energetic balance and well-being. Pain relief: Marma therapy can be effective in relieving various types of pain, including musculoskeletal pain, joint pain, headaches, and migraines. The stimulation of marma points helps to release tension, reduce inflammation, and promote the flow of healing energy, thereby alleviating pain.
